Not really liking the CVO LTD colours or the graphical design, glad I got the '16. $2400 increase for the CVO LTD here in Canada - yikes!

.

I like the newer graphics, now if they'd quit rehashing the same old colors..... ::)
-
I believe the Wet Head is dead....so much for resale on 14-16 models with that motor.
-
The 17 CVO Limited's are still wethead(s).

Harley no longer calls it Twin Cooled. It is now an Air Cooled and a Precision Cooled Motor. They no longer use anti freeze in the top end. They use oil to cool the heads in the new motor.

Dunno mike. I think it's the 107 without lowers that are oil cooled. The bikes with the lowers still have anitfreeze in them.

That was my thoughts.

I have to agree.....the graphics aren't saying much. :nixweiss:

Our audience with the two Harley reps at MV last year apparently had no effect. A lot of us bitched about paint and this is what we get. LOL

You may be right. They do list the twin cooled motors still.

I did verify this when back up at the dealer this afternoon. They had a UC Limited and a regular Ultra. The limited is a wethead and the Ultra along with a SG and RGS has the new monster oil cooler. All non CVO bikes
Here's a pix of that new oil cooler. I can see those getting paint matched real quick.

Anyone know if the oil cooler has a fan?

It does not. You should have seen the looks I was getting trying to get my ass up off the floor from crawling under there looking for one. Looks like there's room though to add something if you're the creative type.

Man that thing is eerily similar to the '09 CVO Ultra Limited... :nixweiss:

Ouch, this might hurt ;D

They do have some similarities.

Now that's good investigative reporting. And it saves me 5 minutes of trying to get up off the floor myself.

That's my limit on "taking on for the team" for this year. Lol

I have some great news................
Nothing here is motivating me to buy a new ride. Now the new 2017 Indian's look promising...

;D
My plans include an Indian demo ride or 2 in the very near future. Except for that &%#&*# fairing......

A new dealership just opened about 10 miles South of the house. Driven by but haven't gone in. I was in SC last weekend and stopped in the dealership in Savannah. Good looking bike. Engine went up to 111 to beat the 110. Guess they'll now have to go to "115"? I was eyeing the Vintage but the Roadmaster fully loaded in only $28K.

New dealer here is having their grand opening this weekend. Demo rides, they already gave me a free t shirt. ;D Have seen $28k on the Roadmaster at other places. Not a huge fan of the overall styling, but that fairing to me just needs serious help. Maybe could just rattle can the chrome honker on it... :nixweiss:
Will be interesting to see how it rides. Also planning to try the new HDs, maybe will get to that this weekend time permitting.

That's the one I'd get if I were in the market for a new one...
-
So, the new 114 engine...should be interesting and hopefully not full of issues like first year engines have been in the past
-
I hope you're right. Time will tell.

The first year for the CVO Limited was 2014.

Unfortunately this oil cooler fan is only compatible with the precision-cooled (oil-cooled) engines. The P&A catalog specifically says this oil cooler fan is not compatible with twin-cooled (water-cooled) M8 engines.
-
That is due to the twin cooled motors do not have an oil cooler. The pump for the water is in the place where the oil cooler mounts!
