Title: CVO 117 build with Fullsac DX and his new mufflers
Post by: GMR-PERFORMANCE on March 01, 2017, 09:06:16 AM
Not like the 117 kit is new or that we have not built countless kits at this point. However I was able to install the FS DX head pipe and his new complete muffler. these have the 2.0 core. Great sound nice rumble not as loud as the cursher mellows , ( i like that ) but twist the throttle and they sound great .

Build wise the specs are on the sheet. I had a touch of slip down low but the customer wanted me to back off on spring rate .. Not like he is going to be doing 2000 RPM pulls . Some noise in the sheet it was due for tires they where chopped badly .. Overall the Alberta boys are happy campers . ( we built two of these )

More tq than we have seen before with a great curve .   Hats off to you Steve outstanding job on the mufflers

Steve, that 117 build looks great.  Usable power all across the scale.  I was really looking at your 113 (based on the results Joevibe received on his build) but this 117 looks dang good, too.  Decisions, decisions....

You could either pull a horse trailer, or throw wings on it and take flight. Very nice!!

Nice Numbers Steve, I have to say those are what I am looking for once I do my intake valve and port my heads, also install your 600 cam. I just got my 117 done today. used the whole kit except pistons, went with 10.7:1 from Suburban speed.  End up with 121/130 with the 259e and Xtreme True Duals. Love the sound and what a difference over that 110.
