Title: LA Choppers 10" Twin Peaks
Post by: 4fun on April 12, 2017, 11:38:19 AM
Finally decided to change the bars  after getting pains in the arm. I didn't want to go above the fairing so I went with the 10" Twin Peaks.

Install wasn't all that bad. About 5 hours. Wires went in the bars fairly easy.

Although the height is better, I am not sure I gained too much since the pull back is less. I didn't test ride yet (raining now) but I do like the hand position better.

Thanks, got take it out for an hour  this afternoon. I like the hand position on these bars. Seems like it is easier to dive into corners , could just be my imagination. I do need to rotate the bars back further. At least I am now an expert at taking the fairing apart.

They look nice, I was trying to keep the bars below the fairing for the cooler temps.
