Title: CUSE8 V & H FP3
Post by: el Cadar on April 17, 2017, 12:03:54 PM
Anyone out there bought and used the new Vance and Hines Fuel Pak 3 yet?  I've seen several write ups on other forums saying its not compatible but I checked the V&H app and based n my VIN, there are maps I can upload.  I'm on the fence looking for someone to tell me to jump... ;)

btw, if you do have it, what air/exhaust configuration are you running?

It really depends on what you plan on doing to your bike.  I have both a FP3 and a power vision, I said "oh I won't do any big mods" less then 1 year later, the bike only had 7500 and I was having a big bore kit put in, cams, heads, t/b, injectors, and so on. A power vision and two dynos later I have an FP3 sitting on my work bench. I have plans on reinstalling and using the Bluetooth features to monitor live data while riding. I can do it with the power vision but I like having my phone mounted on my handle bars rather than the power vision. So if you plan on doing big mods go with a power vision, if not FP3's are ok, I wouldnt live by how they can tweak your mapping. If you want the best performance power vision and a Dyno is the way to go.
