Title: T-Max Auto-Tune Accel Fuel setting question.

I posted this over on the TC forum, and thought I'd post here too.

Over on the V-Twin forum, another poster said he went to the BASIC SETTINGS mode, and changed the Accel Fuel setting from 12 to 3, and that improved his mpgs from 30 to 38. Is there any harm in doing this? He said it was akin to the accelerator pump on a carb throwing in too much gas.
