17k on my 08 and have had no work AT ALL done other than routine maintenance.
-
35,000 miles on 2008, three rear tires, two front, brakes three times.
At approx. 28,000 fuel system was replaced under extended warranty, 29,000 front oxygen sensor was replaced. I think the O2 sensor was the problem and the fuel pump may not have been bad.
other then that runs strong, gets around 35 to 39 miles per gallon single or doubled up.
love the Bike.

20k had rear exhaust valve stick at 18k.

70,000 Km. 2007. No major issues since the upgrade, although it burns more engine oil this year, than previously.
Using Avon Cobra tyres, very happy with them, much better mileage than Metzler.
6000km trip = 1ltr oil.
Motorway speeds burn more oil than on side roads.
Undecided on what to do, when it finally needs anything major. maybe just bin it and put in a 120R
-
I burn about 1 to 1 and 1/4 quarts of oil every 5,000 miles.

It's ok, if he has a Springer it is probably blue.

30,000 KMS ridden so far-Clutch master cylinder replaced at 6000 kms. Crankshaft replaced at 8000 kms. Rear cylinder head replaced at 20000 kms when spark plug threads came out with spark plug. Engine rebuild at 29000 kms including block as cylinder stud pulled out. When I got the bike back there was an awful clacking noise. Rode it for 1000km and then the dealer called and wanted to check it out. Turned out to be a broken rocker arm bracket they said. So far so good. Heading out on a 4000 km ride in two weeks with my fingers crossed. This bike has been a real treat !!!! lol Things seem good for now.

68k miles at 48k had a lifter start to fail cam had some little chips off it. Upgraded to new lifters gearing drive cam from fueling and new screaming eagle plate and oil pump. Runs great love the new cams.

As far as tires and brakes go I have replaced both and found the stock ones work the best and last the longest. Tried Avons and barely got 5k out of them (should have replaced them at 4k) when the Dunlops got every bit of 7k. Put Lindall Z brakes on and wont do it again. Dusty and had low life. I won't EVER get rid of this bike. (08 Inferno Orange) Just new ones beside it! Nicest bike around WHEREVER I go! :bananarock:

Mine burns about a quart every 5k as well.

Bought the bike used a year and a half ago with 4090 miles and my flywheels shifted 6 months ago. .029" runout on the cam side. All is well now though. Just finished up rebuilding the motor with an S&S crank. Motor is stroked and bored out to 124".

Oil consumption issue at 19K, a ring job fixed the issue, but I added cams while it was I the shop. 30K on the clock now, exhaust head bolts vibrated out. Not sure what'll happen next.

Desertwndrr - question for you ... How do you determine the "flywheels shifted"? Is there a symptom that is identifiable from how the bike sounds or rides? Or is it something that has to be measured directly some other way?
I ask - because my '08 FXSTSSE2 has a very pronounced "mechanical sewing machine" sound - and am curious if that's "normal" noise for the 110 engine, or if it's something I should be concerned with. The bike is new to me - so I don't know if it started out life "like that". I bought her at 11,000 miles, and currently have about 15,000 miles on her...

Sewing machine sound is normal and comes from the valves and rockers.
I only found the issue in my bike when I pulled the cam cover to change the inner bearings and to look things over. Had no indication of issues prior to that. All is well now.

Ok - I won't overly concern myself with the sound ... but a question/clarification ... When you say "all is well now", did you service the vales/rockers in some fashion that "removed" the sewing machine sound? Or was it the inner bearing change that corrected the issue?
Forgive me - I'm mechanically inclined, just not versed in engine mechanics, etc - so I may not be fully understanding what you are saying. :-)

My problems were with the crank and not the valves. All is well now because I got a new stronger crankshaft.
