a quick google search netted this:

SearchLock virus pretends to be a reliable tool that will make sure that your Internet searches are safe and protected. However, the irony lies in the fact that this program is deemed to be a potentially unwanted program and a browser hijacker[1] which redirects people to unknown websites. First of all, let's have a look at its official website that claims: "SearchLock automatically detects when you are about to perform a potentially unsafe or non-private search and automatically redirects your query to SearchLock's privacy-safe results page. Read more about SearchLock here." This is how it presents itself and, if all of these claims were true, you could congratulate yourself on finding a nice and useful tool. However, the truth is rather different and it can be easily revealed by reading users' reviews.[2] No matter that there are thousands of people who have added this tool to their web browsers, we believe that almost all of them have already performed SearchLock removal on their computers. Beware that, after installing the add-on on Firefox or Chrome web browsers, it changes your start page and the default search engine to Yahoo or other website. Besides, it starts slowing your searches and can also make your web browser crash.
