"New & Improved" Borzilla
« on: May 13, 2016, 10:17:01 AM »

AS I stated earlier, somewhere, the Borzilla has been updated from the set I had on Ol' Maudie.  Later--HUBBARD

Wow, about time they tucked in the rear exhaust which for me with short legs is a big plus as that pipe has left me with permanent burn scars. You long legged folks don't have that issue as your legs are long enough to avoid this issue. Anyway I'm jealous of that but other than that I love the Boarzilla. I opted for the quiet baffle and it's still plenty loud but without Deep and LOUD. Hope the new bike with the upgrades treats you as well as OL Maudie did over the years. :drink:

I feel for ya by the time I felt the burning both times it was to late as the fire came on fast after. Wonder if the old Muffler part will bolt up to the new head pipe or if even available. :nixweiss:

What are the major differences between the Boarzilla and FatCat? I had a FatCat and even with the "quiet" baffle it was too loud for me.

The older I get, the more annoying loud pipes are to me.  Just saying. . Stuart  :(

The Fat-Cat primary pipe is 1 3/4" in diameter, and the Borzilla is 1 7/8".  The Borzilla is recommended by most builders for 117" up Motors.  Later--HUBBARD

Thanks Hubbard. Sounds like it's too much for me on all fronts, build and decibel to be exact.

Yeah, I think the Borzilla's were $1100.00, and the Fat-Cats were $700.00.  I think they come coated, but I can't remember inside or out.  I had mine coated whichever way they weren't.  Anal about that black and purple under the shields.  I don't know which baffle Jody used in mine, but it's loud.  I like loud, personally.  Later--HUBBARD

similar recommendation from D&d I think
but some tuners have seen better results from the Borzilla on 110's and 113's also
