I understand the whole getting old thing. Takes some time for the brain to understand that some things we just shouldn't do anymore!

That's a very unfortunate injury Howard. Those overhead doors can be extremly heavy, especially if its a double garage. It coulda been worse... the broken spring coulday have hit you or the bike.. and them things will mess up yer paint, yup I've had that happen once...

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Thank you for the prayers and well wishes folks. The surgery went well yesterday and I'm in recovery mode. It's bandaged up where I can't move it but I'm supposed to take the bandages off Saturday. Hopefully starting Saturday I can begin the rehab.

For me rehab started with some finger walking on the table, even after all these yrs when I lay on the floor with my hands behind my head I can't touch  the floor with my right elbow and if there long enough I need to use my left hand to pull my right out from under my head do to pain.

Thanks Ray.  Going well but won't get the staples out until next week so not a lot of therapy or movement yet.  It doesn't hurt, just uncomfortable.  I look at it as it could have been worse.

The great weather we are currently experiencing is hurting more...Beauregard is sitting in the garage gathering dust and on a trickle charger... :(

Won't make MV this year.  We are taking our son and daughter-in-law to Vegas in September for their first time...so maybe MV next year.
