Hogswipe detailer
« on: July 09, 2016, 03:51:31 AM »

Not sure if this product is old news, but last year when I was on a trip to NC, I wanted some detail spray to get rid of the bug marks.

Ended up cursing to have to pay $29.95 for a bottle of Hogswipe, but my buddy I was with said it was great stuff.

After going through half a bottle, I agree- IMO, this is the best spray detailer out there. Bug marks come off great, and it really wipes off clean and leaves a nice shine. The bottle does go a long way, considering I use it on my cars too.

It's cheaper to order directly from Hogswipe, but this is a product I will always use.

I got a sample of Hogswipe and @$29.95 this is just crazy, I did not see it any better than $10 Mothers or Meguairs. Want to spend more buy McKee 37 from Autogeek, stuff the Lambo/Ferrari guys use, I also do not see it any better but at least your less informed buddies would be impressed.
Hogswipe to me is another one of those "if we make it and overcharge for it, the Harley guys will buy it" products. I buy and use alot of detailer,  like you for bug clean-up when I can't wash and as claybar lubricant. Just nothing about Hogswipe to make it worth three bottles of Mothers.

Wizards Mist & Shine works very well too.  If you have a coating on before the bugs and grime it's even better.
