No Oil Pressure??
« on: September 24, 2016, 08:58:19 AM »

Ok, finally after 400 miles I figured out how to check my oil pressure on the Boom and wadda ya know ..IT was ZERO..and still  quiet as a mouse ( for a 110). Damn these new 110"s are great ..runs 400 miles with no oil pressure.that SYN 3 must be some good stuff!!..hell I guess they all do that, that's how they get broken in..lol   Didn't see oil light come on..or the valve train rattle to beat hell..l I guess all is well.!

Headed to dealer to get my tech to check it out. Be a shame if a new motor was grenaded and they gave me a free 117 upgrade...right..

reminds me of "Slick 50"....when they said once applied you could run the engine with no oil :bananarock:

Good luck with you issue....hope it was just a sensor.

Yea ,  it actually was running, even quiet..One of the owners of my company ,who has a ,14. CVO showed me how to check it.. A little embarrassed..  Then I told him , is was a new low maintenance 110..He called bull chit on a that one.. I remember the slick 50 pitch..  We drained the oil and ran it x miles.. Right..
