Milling A " Wet Head" How Much?

Anyone up to speed on how much you can mill a " wet head" safely? Seeing .018 I'm hearing .040?? Like to see if I can  the CCs' on the head down to 89, if not guess I'll buy  pistons.

Yes you can get there.
Still would advise pistons

Can do I .040 safely ?  Not opposed to buying pistons , just trying to get 125 or so with out it

Got it thanks , what I should have mentioned was, what I am really trying to do is keep the 1 year warranty  on the kit in  case the bottom end let's go. HD will warranty that kit for one year if a dealer does it. Just trying to get .5 or so on compression.   Figured what the hell...

Thanks John, think .020 sounds perfect. Won't gain that much more for..005

When I did my motor this past winter I sent the cylinders and heads out to Zippers. They only cut the heads .020. So I guess that is a good number.
