SESG vs Sport bike
« on: October 10, 2016, 02:24:02 AM »

So im riding the backroads near home and pass 3 sport bike guys sitting in the shade. I give a little wave but didnt really get a good look at the bikes. Four or fives miles later i spot them in the rear view mirror coming up quick. Theres a big long straightaway coming up so lets see what the 113" will do. Ive already got the jump on them and take 4 th to the top then fifth to the top. Speedo is at the 110-120 mark . I didnt see them coming at this point but they went by me like i was standing still and scared the crap out of me! They are prob still laughing about the old guy with the saddlebags and tour pak.

I learned how to keep them from passing me long ago.........take a left. Seriously, many of the sport bikes will do 180+ but not with me on them   :drink:

I remember those days and they can be fun but, as said above, I like the class/looks part now too!  I have always preferred the sound as well.

I am not sure how I survived my younger days but at least I have reduced the risk some.  HA!
