Heated seat
« on: October 22, 2016, 03:41:17 PM »

On a 2007 SE Ultra how warm should the heated seat get when turned on. I turn mine on but don't believe it is working. Checked plugs all seems to be plugged in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and God bless.

On my 2013 you can sure tell when it's engaged. On the high setting it would get downright uncomfortable.

Have you tried turning on the ACC switch to see if the seat gets hot? It has been reported previously that sometimes the plug for the seat is connected to the ACC switch. There are two plugs located near where the seat plugs in... one goes to the ACC switch and the other is directly powered.

My 07 SE Ultra seat was very hot on the high setting, both rider & passenger.  Could be a fuse.

If you switch the ACC on and you get heat then switch the plugs and you will have heated seat w/o having to use the ACC switch.

It will take a little while, but you will know when it's working. On a side note I only see the one plug that my seat is connected to, but it does require the acc button to be turned on.
