where can you buy polished or chrome rotors for the front (not harley davidson)

Polish your own!  Quite easy, a cheap polishing kit off eBay, and an electric drill.

J&P and Dennis Kirk have a few hundred non-HD ones listed. After I warped the stock front, I put on a PM full floating one on my old bike and no complaints with them.

Nope.  Obviously when you polish it, you will polish a bit of the area swept by the pads.  Within a couple of miles, the pads will have roughened that bit up again (check the photos in my earlier post). Absolutely zero effect of stopping power.

Try KC International for polished rotors. Good quality, and very reasonable prices.  8)
