coughing through the air filter on start up
« on: January 08, 2017, 02:53:56 PM »

hi new to writing posts  however  seeing  a number of people with cvo breakouts and coughing  issues  when cold starting etc

mate of mine also has a cvo breakout  and both our bikes do it ,  long story short  , the dealer found some sealant that had entered the tank and partly blocked the  strainer on the fuel pump which restricted  fuel pressure ,
fuel pump, strainer replaced and have never had a repeat of it since ,

Would not be the first time prep and paint material had been left in cvo breakout fuel tanks causing issues. Discovered posts about it when I was researching my own fuel pump issues.Sad to see in a 30k motorcycle.
