Well bust my buttons....I had never noticed that!  I looked this morning and yeppers, stage 1 on my '15.  It sounds great and is an improvement over the old system but dang it all (and this site....again), now I'm'a thinking what am I missing from 1 to II?  So, what would be involved with upgrading the current system to stage II and no lower speakers...just the ones in the current locations.  I'm all for upgraded sound and more speakers but the faring lower speakers with the twin cooled bikes aren't for me.
Here ya go.

I just got the rest of the parts in for mine. Waiting on a warmer day to play with this in the unheated garage.

Thank you sir!

I remember that thread now but it never registered with me I didn't have stage II...and at $1,300 bucks for the HD upgrade, I believe I'll just keep on singin' along with the boom I for a while.  With our bike trade/worth prices dropping like a rock, I can't see spending much more on Beauregard except maybe a couple hundred on performance mods once the warranty is gone July 26th, 2017.

Hey OBB .......why not consider a space heater for your garage? After shivering next to one of those portable heaters while performing a winter project on my bike, I ordered a 240 volt space heater for only $160:

Cost me another $100 to have an electrician install an appropriate outlet near my work area. This setup makes my winter bike upgrades outright comfy now ;D :2vrolijk_21:

Without starting another thread, I thought I would pose the question here.  If I just wanted to upgrade my speakers and NOT add an amp or anything else, what would be a good choice?  Which speakers are good with the stock amp?

I may be wrong, but the Ohms on HD speakers are not like those of other speakers. I am no audio whiz, but I gave an old pair of Boom speakers to a buddie of mine who owns an Indian and he gave them back stating the ohm issue prevented him from using them. I dunno, I seem to get half a story from half assed people.  :-\

Hey Glenn, that's sorta the same thing I heard, too. That's why I was asking just in case someone had tried and achieved, hopefully. Thank ya, sir.

Well. Had an accident with the CVO back in August. I'm OK but the bike is totaled. I pulled the entire lower fairing speaker kit, wiring harness and amp off the bike. It's for sale if anyone is interested. The right side speaker has a small amount of rash but could be buffed out and would be barely be noticeable.  It was $1300 new. $500 bucks and it's yours. I'll post pics here and in the classifieds soon. 937 309 8432
