This a view from my patio of the recent snow on Idyllwild Mountain which is about an hour and a half away. The weather has been trending back to the mid 70's here and mid 50's up there.

We rode with my American Legion brothers to the Post in Idyllwild and found plenty of the white stuff.

In town there wasn't a problem, but at the Post there was some snow on the road and parking lot. It was a beautiful day up there and I took off my jacket for the trip down. Only "oh chit moment" was when we were about two miles from the turn off to town there was a sign saying "snow chains required one mile ahead" which I guess should have been covered.
