Well , I have am trying this Trike Conversation again, This time I took my 2011 CVORG with about 15,500 miles on it and had Roadsmith in Daytona do the work,

The wife and I got a chance to ride about 100 miles on it today and it was amazing how well it rode, great power, comfortable for the wife. The rear lights are very bright , I like the handling on the road, I put on the extra 3 gallon gas tank.
My only issue so far is I am unimpressed with the electric reverse, but it is was it is

She is gorgeous!  What a beautiful beast!
The color matching on the rear end looks great, and the whole appearance/impact is awesome.
I had an '11 RGU, and she never looked that good!
Congratulations!

Looks great!  If you could have auxilliary lights (similar to those you have on the forks) integrated into the rear fenders, I think that would be sweet.

I put on the extra 3 gallon gas tank.

so that tank is a 9 gal tank?  it doesn't look any bigger than the stock tank.

I've often wondered why you see so few roadglide based trikes.  good looking conversion.

I agree, great looking ride.  I always thought it was because of the fixed faring on the RG.  However, I realized if I chose that logic, you would never see a GW trike... :2vrolijk_21:

The paint is spot on.  Great job.

Roadsmith offers a 3 gal aux tank as part of the trike kit.  Notice the separate filler on the right rear fender on the first photo.  Here is a link to Roadsmith which explains it.  Pretty neat actually.  :2vrolijk_21:

Very nice conversion! I have been thinking a trike might be in my future and I want the Roadglide look. I'm not quite ready to make the change.

George, did Roadsmith do the paint work on the trike body as part of the install? I scanned their website, but it didn't mention anything about paint. Filed the site for reference; if I don't fully recover, I may have to go this route. I had been thinking Frankenstein, but these guys have some nice tech specs on their products.

Yes, they did the paint also , it's a perfect match.
It's a line item on the order sheet near the bottom as one of the options

Wow Simon you could really do a fancy theme paint job on the canvas of a trike.

With the lights in the mud flaps, at night, it's brIght enough!
