New CVO owner from Tulsa, OK
« on: March 04, 2017, 12:28:30 PM »

Hey guys, Proud new to me owner of an 07 FXSTSSE which I am absolutely IN LOVE with.

I have been riding on gas powered 2 wheels since I was 5yo, racing motorcross, supermoto, sportbikes and BMWCCA closed course until the ripe old age of 32. I have since started calming down when I bought my first Hayabusa in 2003 for comfort (I know right) and shortly afterwards picked up a wrecked HD bagger to build, flip and make some cash only... because I wasn't going to be caught dead on one of the pieces of junk.

Long story short I rode that POS bagger for 10 years and have owned a handful of HD and customs as well since, and now feel like this was my roots all along (I guess I was adopted by Japanese bikes when I was young).

So... here I am, 5 days ago I picked up this little 07 SE Springer and it is by far my favorite of the bunch. The transformations have already begun with more to come. I am about to get it out and ride till I find a good watering hole to camp out at for a while and then I will snap a few pics to post up later this weekend.

Peace Brothers, keep it upright
-Steve

Ok... I promised a couple pics but never could find a place to park it that looked could AND let it sit long enough to snap a couple pics, (I'm ate up with it!! :P)
I just got done putting new S&S standard adjustable pushrods along with a set of the Hylift Johnsons Direct Shot Slow Bleeds in it so there are greasy paw prints all over it still. ::)

Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina!
Meeting the members and being able to put faces on the posters on this site is a real thing here with CVO Harley. We have GTG's, Get Togethers, a few times a year. This is a chance to rekindle old friendships and make new ones. We socialize, ride our bikes, eat really well, and even have a drink or two. These GTG's are found in The Events section of the forum. This year in June is The National Meet In The Middle GTG in Eureka Springs, AK.

Join us in Eureka Springs in June and/or Maggie Valley in September.
Sure would be nice to meet you at one or both.
