After a "few" beers, I am now ready to introduce myself.  Last month I traded my 2012 GL1800 for a 2017 CVO Limited.  I could not be happier!  I don't believe any bike is "perfect", but this one is as close as I can imagine!!  My only complaints so far are about the weather here in Bremerton WA!  Looking forward to learning from everyone here!

Welcome Don.. That is a beautiful ride.. Safe Riding.. And Thank You for your Service.. My Father was Navy for 18yrs..

The CVO sure looks and sounds great. The Wing does everything else better by a mile.

Not a challenge to anyone. Ride what you like. Love my CVO but I know what it is and what it's not.

Did not intend to highjack this in anyway.

This should be interesting!

While I don't completely agree, this is why I am on this forum.  I like to read other peoples opinion.
In the areas that are important to ME, I prefer the CVO.

The CVO infotainment and navigation system blows honda away.   Honda does not even offer bluetooth, this is very important to me.  I do not desire to talk while riding, but I do want to know someone is trying to reach me.  I have aging parents with health issues, I want to know if they call.

The Honda engine was fantastic.  Honda's refusal to acknowledge and fix the engine stumble (2012 and newer) caused me to lose faith in them.  (NHTSA Action Number: PE15014)  I am happy with the CVO engine performance for MY riding style, and enjoy a consistent response to my throttle inputs.

The CVO riding position is more comfortable to ME.  I have creaky knees and a fused left ankle.  Being able to flex my knees a bit really helps.  On the honda, the highway pegs are very wide and not too comfortable.

I do miss having reverse.  I could ride or park ANYWHERE and not worry about how I was going to get back out.  If it becomes important, I will fix this.

I have not ridden in hot weather yet, but I am sure honda is better in this area.

There is no perfect motorcycle, if there was, production would cease on every other model.  The CVO limited is the best bike available for MY priorities and riding style.

Well, no more time to type...  It is Saturday, and FINALLY not raining in Bremerton!!

Welcome to the world of Harley.....now go get some cool shirts, leathers and boots  Don't forget to get a copy of the Harley "Wish Book" Parts Catalog.

Your fun has just begun.

Take the transition slowly.....start by only shaving a couple times a week then grow a goatee before the full length beard. It is also advisable to take a 72 hour cooling off period once you decide to get your first tattoo...... after the first one no need to wait.

Also, you might develop a tic to stop at every Harley shop you see, this is normal and best not to resist.

Be aware that some of your past Goldwing friends migh start to comment more about you and your Harley....this is normal...and when this happened is it ok to start you bike and rev you motor a few times.

Enjoy your new Ride and here's wishing you many safe and adventurous miles.
