Front end
« on: March 06, 2017, 01:53:23 PM »

I am experiencing a high speed front end wobble. Not a tank slapper by any means. 95 and up the front end starts to wobble. As I increase speed up to say about 110 I don't notice an increase in wobble seems to stay about the same is when doing 95.

I have a 2015 SESG with 28000 on the clock. Now a few months ago I was experiencing a front end wobble on decel. Say going from 50 down to 35 the front end would wobble. Again not a tank slapper. But when the weight shifted from rear to front. Dealer tightened front neck bolt. Tightened it so much that now when I have it on my lift for cleaning and servicing the front is very stiff......no fall away at all.

Like my other post of oil usage I am taking it to dealer to fix/solve. Would appreciate any input as to the problem. Thx.

It is definitely not adjusted correctly.  When off ground and you turn to limit and let go.  It should travel fully to other side and back then to center at least if not a bit more.  If not it is to tight for sure.

I just had a guy I work with experience the same high speed wobble.  He realized the front tire was low, got it up to pressure, and the wobble went away.  Sounds stupid, but its worth a shot.

As stated above. Check your front tire pressure. My first short ride of the year I had that issue. I actually almost expected it since it was sitting all winter and I went to top off the gas tank. Didn't check the air pressure first. Got home. Put the proper air pressure and all is good.
