Good pieces?

Work in a 110 wethead?

Seems like once the tank and rockers are off, few more bolts to pull heads and change out springs.
Guess I am asking if they are worth the effort for just lifter change?

The "standard" Fueling/Fuel Moto (Smith Bros) adjustable pushrods can be installed without removing the rockers and would probably work fine for a stock application.

Using the pushrod tube holding tool, installation and adjustment isn't too bad on those "standard" pushrods.  It does take some time though.

You can always go with the SE tapered adjustable pushrods with the different tubes that make adjustment easier.

Unless you have really heavy springs and high lift cams, either should be sufficiently strong.

Just a free set. Thinking the cost of the Harley ones worth not having to pull so much stuff off especially if hard to adjust once in there. He did say they were the 24 TPI version which is newer.

But if pulling heads and changing cam, going to need adjustables anyways unless using the Harley perfect fit with the 117 kit and cam

Was leaning towards keeping 110 and just a cam, lifters and pushrods as alternate thought

On these big inch twin cams it makes sense to install the easy adjustable pushrods to be able to swap out the lifters quickly.  Removing the tank and rockers isn't hard but I personally like to avoid it as it can be somewhat time consuming.  Adjustable pushrods are just so easy.

Some guys that don't do this every day have issues with the Smiths. The HD tapered 18404-08 are a lot more user friendly and for most builds just fine.
Overlooked but a factor is when the pushrods can be loaded one at a time, the inner adjusted first then the outer it is much easier then trying to count 1/8 turns or flats when they both get loaded together.

Yes the easiest process is "install-adjust-install-adjust" and not "install-install-adjust-adjust".

And the "quickie" pushrods have long exposed adjusting elements that are undersized from the main rod. In essence a pole vault pole

I have used S&S, standard Harley and the newer tapered. All no problem.

Pole vault I guess you mean they flex? Which would make the Feuling models better for stiffness...

When spec'ing out the 117, all the Indys that I asked, suggested the SE Tapered Push Rods,,, the only Push Rods that they could not sell me, or if they could sell them to me the SEs had the least margin...

Around 35k miles with 625 Cams, no issues...
