Fullsac vs street cannons
« on: March 13, 2017, 06:19:06 PM »

Pondering exhaust choice for my 2017 Stage 4 CVO. Leaning to the Fullsac system using original mufflers re cored to say 2.0. The system will be catless. Has anyone heard both of these mufflers as I am wondering about volume and tone of Fullsac vs Street Cannons.  Thanks for any opinions or advice.

You might want to read all the replys in this thread...  https://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=111359.0

It gets down to......do you want noise or do you want performance?

By the way, there isn't a "quiet" Fullsac system.  Just that the 1.75 is just a tad bit quieter.....I mean really "tad bit".   :P

And did I mention that there's only one exhaust system specifically designed and built (in the USA) for the CVOs and the 110" motor.

I have had fullsac on the last 9 bikes in our house hold, including my 17 CVO.  My wife's 17 Road Glide Special had HD street canons on it because in Sept there were not 17 CVO mufflers readily available to modify.

The street canons were a very little bit louder than the fullsac 2.25 on my bike.  The street canons were a little bit deep sound also.  Both bikes still had cats.  The street canons, I believe would give up a little power to the Fullsac as the baffle looks bigger in them.

When her bike is rebuilt or replaced, it will not get street canons.  Reason is, the 4.5 diameter pipe will hit.  Both sides end caps were scrapped up, and one dented a little.  They also look to big.
