Headsets

I bought the then only half helmet headset HD sold, they now have a "Premium" version

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/boom%21-audio-premium-half-helmet-music---communications-headset

I then saw the SPH 10 at my dealer

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/boom%21-audio-sph10-bluetooth-half-helmet-headset

The only issue with this is that it is not compatible for use with the Boom! System. Reads like it is more for bike to bike comm or listening to music from your phone. The main reason I wear a headset it to communicate with the bike.

Saw the Sena at $295 but again, that seems like more suited for bike to bike and not speaking to Boom! Audio

Anyone have an answer for a bluetooth headset that you can use to interact with the Boom! Audio?

Great info. Two things I noted:
The Sena unt alone cost $295 and not sure about headset as that too has to be a Sena,
Second item...That guy likes to talk! lmao

He was rather calm on these two, you need to watch some on his YouTube channel--------

I too have been looking at headsets to chat with the BSR and saw the SPH 10's can link to your BSR, other bikes, your phone, etc.  Was thinking about buying that over a tethered headset.

At this time there is still no headset that interacts directly with the boom system.  See my update on page 2 regarding the Sena Freewire and Sena headset.  Freewire allows wireless and seamless comm's with entire boom system including CB and also with other Bluetooth headsets so is the best of all worlds.  Used it for 2 weeks solid touring the State of Florida without any glitches while communicating with my 2 buddies who had the standard HD wired comm's on their bikes.  Your going to have a $500.00 investment between headset and Freewire.  I have half helmet and purchased a pair of Vega Echo Audio Ear Pad for Motorcycle Helmet off Amazon for $15.00 that worked great and much better quality then what HD sells and almost half the price that HD wants for theirs.  Other great benefit was no umbilical cord between you and the bike.
