Problems
Hi
I ordered new new 10" LA choppers handlebars for Hill Country Custom Cycles. Handlebar was  prewired. I installed bars week ago. Here are the problems: Passing lamps, turn signals, heated grips and brake light does not work. Also burn, accessories and heated grip fuse. Before I started this work I disconnected negative cable of course. Everything else is working just fine.  Bike is CVO -12 Ultra. Any thoughts, or help?
Thanks

I would say that you have a short to ground on one or more of the wires in the handlebars. Your going to have to Ohm out the handlebar wires one at a time to find the problem wire. The next problem is that your going to have to pull the wires out of the bars if you find the problem there.

If every thing was working before the bar change then the bar change caused the problem and since they were pre wired I would suspect the bar wires. Its very easy to scrap the insulation off of a wire or two when installing them into the bars.

With luck a mutimeter and some time you will find the problem(s).

+1 on shorting to ground. Almost always why fuses blow immediately.  Meter is almost a must to diagnose.

You got that right!  I did Ohm test. Pulled out all the wires. Two of the was damaged. Thanks for helping. If I ever change handlebar again never ordered prewired. Better using old wires and extend them NAMZ wires.
