Well that certainly is an adventurous trip.

Do you have the National Park pass yet? America The Beautiful pass. https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm

And if one of you have a disability placard for your vehicle you can get a lifetime pass for only a $10 processing fee.

National Parks can be a bit tight with big 5th wheels, something else to keep in mind.

Hopefully we will be in the northeast when you make it to the right coast  :2vrolijk_21:

If you click on the link I provided it says the route is 14,500 miles.  I don't know how they came up with that figure but with a little time on google maps it would not be hard to come up with the total of miles and actual drive time.

We've got a few hard core riders on here that are retired (or can take three or four weeks off).  I'm seriously thinking about putting this ride together after I retire (not this summer but maybe next summer).

Who might be interested?  Post it up here if you're interested??

What an absolutely brilliant trip. I was over there in 2003 for Harley's 100th with my bike and did 18000k's and 25 states in 8 weeks. I loved it.

Babe and I rode from Sacramento, California to Milwaukee, Wi. and back.  We took three or four weeks.

This definitely has my interest... I retired this year, so if I'm still on the right side of the dirt in another year or so, I'd seriously consider it.  Interestingly, I've been wanting to see National Parks for a while... I've been on all 7 continents, most of them multiple times, but done very little traveling in the states... Great idea!!

My ride reports are just so-so but I enjoy doing them.  But I know a couple ol' boys that make a living with cameras and they both like to tour so I'm really hoping they might sign on for six-eight weeks for the epic ride.  Are you listening Kiro, Cambo, Al Hamilton?  Let's commit guys?  :nixweiss:
