I was out yesterday running 6th gear at 3k rpm 85 mph, the bike started slowing down, giving it more gas didn't help. I slowed down with the rpm below 2800 the bike ran fine. I had oil pressure and flow to oil tank, oil temp 180f. I checked the main jet it was fine. I drained the gas tank, cleaned the Petcock strainer and it ran up to 4k before wanting to not run.  The Petcock flow seems sufficient but I don't know how much it should be, I can replace the Petcock. If still have issues,  I guess I can  completely disassemble the cab and Clean everything.  I have beehive valve springs, I can't hear if I have compression release issues. Any suggestions?

I'd be looking at the fuel tank venting first.  Try loosening the cap to see if problem goes away. Next, make sure you are running a Pingel or equivalent petcock for proper flow. Lastly, check that the bowl vent is open to undisturbed air.

Ok thanks.  I took the carb off the Bike and completely disassembled the carb. The cap vent wasn't the problem. A new Petcock on order. Thanks

Super E had a #72 main jet from the factory,  has been running fine for 60k miles. The problem was that two of small holes in the emulsion tube was clogged. Cleaned it, reassembled and test fine. 5k rpm no problems.
