New member from California. I met JCZ at the Rock Store and he told me about this site. I plan on doing some long distance riding and he suggested I join up. Got my first bike a GS450E at 19 back in 1980 and I love motorcycles. These days in addition to riding my Harley Switchback, I ride a Ninja 300 on the twisty's and at track days, and I ride a XR400 dirt bike at Gorman or Cal City. I have never run more than 300 miles in a day on a street bike, and have never crossed the state line on a motorcycle. So I'm a newby to long distance. Right now I have my bike packed up, and I am going to head for Texas Thursday a.m. I plan on being on the road for a week. I'm ready to go.
