I have a 2009 CVO Springer. Has stock jead pipes and VH slip on mufflers. Can anyone tell me where the CATS are in the exhaist system? If I get a header system can I go withoit the CATS? If so, what are the pros and cons? Will it run cooler without the CATS?

Stock 2009 CVO Springer cats are in the original OEM mufflers , (which are not on your bike !)

So your bike is "catless" at the moment already

I'm assuming you have some kind of "tuner" for the bike ?
