I had the same concerns about some of the well documented 110 engine issues when I got mine new in 2014. The best advice I got from independent and Harley mechanics was that the problems had been largely solved. Sure, you can always improve, but they weren't letting go if properly maintained. Greetings and welcome to the site.

As you may already know there is a vast array of experience within our membership that stand ready to assist you in your riding pleasure, not to mention spend some of your hard earned coin.  Take it all in and enjoy!

Welcome from MN.  We'll be riding the lakeshore around Lake Michigan in July.  Then around Lake Superior in August.  Looking forward to my Great Lakes trips this summer.
