« on: April 19, 2017, 05:45:37 PM »

How do I get the fuel line off. I pushed up on the coller but won't come down. Any helpful pointers would be appreciated..... :orange: :orange:

Your on the right track. Make sure the retaining coller is moved all of the way and give a little tug.

I use about an 8"-10" funnel and get it close to the fuel line as possible before you pull the line off (on old style tanks w/ stupid crossover line under the backbone) run a hose from the funnel into a gas can.  It is a PITA but sure beats the gas running all over your engine and frame....last time I did it, did not spill a drop. Good luck!
