Bushtec - good news!
« on: April 22, 2017, 10:03:56 AM »

I just spoke to Andrew Preston after learning he is re-joining Bushtec on Monday, April 24th.  Just before Daytona two local businessmen purchased the Bushtec operation from the Ohio company which has owned it since the John and Sally Preston sold it a few years ago.

Andrew's initial focus will be on personnel and process and bringing the operation (especially the customer service) back up to the quality level it had under the Prestons.  The new owners are committed to the operation and having local involved ownership can only be a positive for Bushtec.

I know all of us who have and continue to support Bushtec and its products and the Preston family are glad to see Andrew back in the operation.

Here is a copy from Lewis Prestons website. Lewis is Andrews brother and owns a company called Electrical Connection.

Bushtec Manufacturing.
Yeah...I know....this is the EC page.
My family bought Bushtec in 1989. We moved it to East Tennessee in 1992. Then we sold it 8 years ago. The last 8 years had change...some good, some not so good. One of the items in the good column was the hiring of Keith Simpson. Keith had that drive and compassion for the product that my family did. Then he left last fall.
Fast forward to last week. Keith is now one of the new owners and General Manager overseeing all operations.
My brother Andrew and I have been invited to be a part of the new Bushtec. And I'm proud to say that we will be helping Keith and the crew however we can (no...I'm not closing EC or leaving). What I can tell you is that you are going to see changes again...and all for the better of the product and customers.

Let's keep this thread updated with any news we get in the future.  I truly hope this is good news for Bushtec trailers and for all current and future customers.
