REPOZ,
I have a hard time believing that they will carry over the SE version of the springer.  Baggers rule the CVO arena, so I could believe that they would hold over one of those.  Many on this site have replied that the only CVOs in dealerships are the Springers.  I do believe that they will bring it back at a later date...just to unique and beautiful of a bike.

Regarding rumors...I prefer to call it speculation which is half the fun of a blog.  Talking all kinds of crap that only us have cares/feelings about.  Information passing is the best but speculation and a little fun filled smack talking never hurt either. ;) 8) :P :huepfenjump3:

Good point.  What else would we do when we aren't riding, shining or wrenching? :)

Didn't the Deuce and Fatboy CVOs go for multiple years, though?

As far as the Springer is concerned - - > Glad I got mine!!   :2vrolijk_21:

I heard the springer's cost was too much considering the sales volume

It would appear the FXSTSSE's move faster than the non CVO Springers.

How many more years can Mo Co continue with another SE Road King? Its about time for a change? Like a SE Street Glide, Road Glide and some other model not in the Touring family. Hey this sounds like a great Poll question. Maybe Mo Co would listen.  Wishful thinking on my part!

The second Road King within the now common two year model cycles seemed quite expected. The third SEUC (if it in fact comes out) is the more unexpected surprise.  It seems likely, however, there will always be a touring model of some kind (at least one).  They sell best.

I don't like to spread rumors - but - I read on another board that the FX Springer is just being moved to the CVO lineup for this year and next. After that, the guy says the Motor Company will likely bring it back into the regular lineup with cosmetic changes.  He mentioned the the old Bad Boy.

Okay, so Part I of this rumor is true.

One of those new Rockertails would look pretty good with a Springer fork.    8)

Repoz your crystal ball may be right on...I can see an all black version of the Rockers with a springer front end...may look kool.  The MoCo always releases an inbetween year bike anyway...look at the Nightster, Nightrod...

Just a thought

Personally I don't care for the Rocker models.  I do like the 2008 FXSTSSE2 even more than the 07 due to the 19" front tire.   :bananarock:

The '08 springer is the only model of the new CVO's that I like as of now. Mostly disapointed this year.
