Now that you have made the big decision, there is something that you are going to notice.  You will begin healing at twice the speed (read warp speed).  Good luck and as Red Skelton use to say at the end of every show, "may God Bless".

JC - The story about you retrieving your SEEG was inspirational.  What we won't all do for the love of riding.  You are a testament to that!!!  Thanks for hanging in there because I think we all realize it could have just as easily been one of us.  I would hope I would have the same perserverance as you.  We haven't met, but I'm glad to know you and be part of the site you started.  Keep on healin' and enjoy your trip to Colorado. I never REALLY thought you would sell it! Glad to hear you are getting better every day. Soon we will have to go for a ride! Have fun in Colorado and keep healing at the speed of light.

JC,

Here, here!

I have failed to find the thread that discussing your accident. If you could post the link it will make me wiser. I would hate to follow suit as your recovery sounds protracted.

Howdy JC ... I just found this forum yesterday. I need to go find the intro folder and introduce myself <G>.

Just wanted to say, hang in there. I broke my leg (not motorcycle related) Labor Day weekend 2002. I did an Iron Butt ride in a cast about six weeks later. Nothing was going to keep me from riding! LOL

It's either in you......or not! lol

By the way, as busted up as I got in my accident, there was no blood, no roadrash, no open wounds (other than where my bones were sticking through the skin).  Really freak injuries for a 25-30 mph accident.

JCZ  wise choice !  BEst of luck with a speedy recuoperation. I had a real bad accident 15 years ago, my X forbade me from riding again after that .. a few months after the divorce was final I bought my first HD , another thing she was against.

I found the most wonderful lady in the world , we both ride , she has an 05 1200C , and we are getting hitched in a couple of months.  If it's worth having , it's worth waitin for
