So, Hog Tales Magazine arrived today. There's an article in there entitled "Living the Legend." Basically it is a marketing ploy to garner funds for the H-D Museum. Individuals can purchase a 3" rivet with a respectable message of their choice to be attached to a wall on museum grounds. OK, so I had some stress relieving fun with the rivet tool this evening. Though I'd never do this.............after what this dealership put me through with the paint problems on my 2006 SEUC, I had to see what this would look like. It made it past the automated check, but I'm certain it would never make it on the wall. Probably won't support this effort, but it was fun to play. Try it: http://www.h-dmuseum.com

Can't be ordered with the rivet. Only comes one way. But your dealer will be happy to customize it for you with the Factory Authorized Rivet Engraver! It's only an extra $500/letter. How many letters would you like. Would you like to buy a vowel. Oh sorry, they're double the cost!

If it were true I would. But HD's parts just add extra weight. And I think that's at the crank, not the rear wheel!
