Hotmetal2,

Wow with the high vehicle theft rate in La Belle Province and high car and truck insurance rates, your only paying $550, that is a fantastic rate.

Geezerglide,

I'm doing business with Trudeau Assurances (broker). This is for a full year!!  SEEG is the same rate than FLHTCI.

The rate is low because it is a ''Touring Class'. Here, the theft are more interrested for softail, Dyna and others HD. There are some assurance companies which assure only FLH, because the other HD are too risky!!

Hotmetal2,

Thanks for the info., that is an excellent rate.

I make it down to Montreal 3 - 4 times a year as our Head Office and main manufacturing plants are located on Cote de Liesse, McArthur Ave, Ward Avenue and also in Granby. I work for a valve manufacturer VELAN.

I'm now paying $476.00 per year with comp and collision, through American Family.  Clean record and no claims makes a big difference to them.  (I understand the rates go up about 60% the first time you file a claim...) [smiley=nervous.gif]
