Hello from Michigan
« on: April 20, 2008, 09:58:56 AM »

Hello,

I'm from Michigan, this is my first CVO bike.  I bought the fxstsse2 w/Copper & Onyx paint.  I can't believe the heads it turns!  I am looking forward to learning more about my new ride and seeing what everybody has done to theirs and also suggestions on what to stay away from.  I'll keep this short and look forward to talking and meeting you in the future.

My wife just started ridding again a couple of years ago. We live in a small town between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. We usually hit a couple of the bike events around the state. Today was her dust off ride so we made a trip down to the St. Joe, covered bridge. Always a nice little ride but she got a little tense with a couple of rain drops  :). Heres a quick picture I took.

Welcome Bossman from sunny Florida. Sounds like you live in my old stomping grounds of Kazoo, Comstock, Galesburg, Climax. :nixweiss:

Hi Bossman and welcome.  You will find a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm here.  I'm in SW Ontario 2 blocks away from St. Clair River.  I can see Marine City, Michigan from my house.  Sweet ride you got yourself, it really is a head turner.  Hope I turn a few heads with this.

I remember the shop, but I had never been in it. I live east of Kazoo in Climax and work in B.C. so until I bought this bike, most of my bike $$$.$$ was spent in Mahrle's or online.

Ok thats all good. They mostly did all old school bikes.
When you said you lived in between Kazoo & BC I fiqured it was Galesburg Or Climax, my step ma still lives out on 35th in Galesburg. When I get up there I have to look you up. Take care and ride safe this summer. :2vrolijk_21:

Tugger, I'll miss Fridays show but. I have to run north to silver lake to pick up my car/buggy/bike trailer. I run my truck threw Plainwell quite a bit. You can miss it, it's the black and orange F350 ford that you might have seen running the roads. Only two of them in this area and the other one runs B.C. and Barry county. The tailpipe never cooled down on mine until diesel went threw the roof. I'm sure we will meet soon tho.  Bossboy
