Unfortunately you do not say which bike this is for. The newest 110's do have a 50 mm tb. I am in the process of upgrading the tb on my '07 SERK to 50 mm, using Kit Number 27623-05 and it seems that only the kit is necessary, as the other parts (cylinders and air filter) already match the specification. At this time, I am not sure if the '07 SERK has a 42 or 46 mm tb, but in any case we will tune the bike after installation of the 50 mm tb using the already used Power Commander. Since all this is planned during the coming weeks, I am interested to learn what, if at all, others have done already. And I will add more information as we go along with the built here.

Ride safely,
Louis

My upgrade will be on my 2007 SE Electra Glide.  I know that I will have to dyno since I have a race tuner.  PC would be alot more convenient and cheaper.  I would like to hear from anyone that has already completed the conversion and has a great improvement or not in performance and heat reduction.

I think that most of us who have upgraded to a larger TB have also changed to a different cam and/or head work for performance, etc. I assume you have already changed out the exhaust and air filter?

Rather than pay for a new throttle body why not contact John Sachs there in Ft. Lauderdale and ask him to open your stock throttlebody up for you.

Well, if anyone wants to buy a Squealin Beagle 50mm TB, I have one to sell - instead of fitting that and changing cams, etc., I changed the bike for an 09...  :)

Thanks!  Haven't got any pics Jacques - bike has been sitting in the dealers for a few weeks now, but I haven't got the bits I'm keeping (mainly the Bluetooth) off my old bike yet to do the swap!

I have an 07 ultra with the 110" kit installed. I changed the stock 46mm TB out for the 50mm last year when I installed true duals, SE hi-flo AC, and a race tuner. Was pleased with the results. 90 hp and 110lb tq
I just got my bike back from the upgrade while it was in there had 10.5 pistons and 251 cams installed. NOW THIS MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. I haven't had it dynoed yet as I want to get a few more miles on it, but I didn't seem to loose any low end but now it pulls like a freight train all the way out to 5500 rpm.

Red 07,

Did you or someone else change your throttle body on your 07?  The 07's came with a 46mm throttlebody as the stock equipment.

The '07 SE 110's all came with a 46mm body, the same used on the '05+'06 96's.

I agree
The confusing thing is when I ask the tech what my throttle body was he picked it up looked it over and said 50mm.

The tech would have been better off saying "I don't know, but I''ll find out for you" rather than giving you misinformation...   :nixweiss:
