Jeff -

I was thinking about you this weekend, hoping that you had a safe trip.  My friend from Austin showed, cash in hand, and rode away with a nice bike.  Nice guy--I hope he enjoys it.

Yes, I am quite aware of the Cherry in Austin, and was also struck by the coincidence of my buyer coming from Austin.

I look forward to seeing your pics.  You may want to post them in the SEEG discussion group--you know, the place where you will encounter scientific statements like "Cherries are the fastest"....which I absolutely believe.  If you post the pics here, our friends with the 06's may start second-guessing themselves, and they may start thinking about the Cherry in Austin--and we can't have that.

Well Dave, glad to hear you're created a space in your garage for a SEEG.  Pictures will happen soon--I'm dealing with the saddlebag bars and general cleaning--besides, it's pretty wet in the Bay Area right now, so I'm glad I got out for a little riding on Sunday.  Also, need to do the 1000 mile service, which my dealer assures me won't affect the warranty, as long as I keep receipts for oil, etc.

So Dave, what's the plan?

The car dealer I'm buying this bike from ordered the key today. This is the owner of the dealerships bike and I've been promised that the entire detail crew will have it shining bright before it ships to NC. Thanks for all the great advice still reviewing the shippers you guys reccomended.

I wish they sold that box separately.

We should've gotten ours in a box to start with. Not like we haven't spent enough money on the bikes to get it in a box instead of some bubble wrap.  [smiley=confused5.gif]

I'm with you there, Fired00d.  Seems odd that they didn't present the key a little more elegantly with this bike.  But, you know, if that's the biggest complaint I ever have with this thing. . . .

(I'm not holding my breath on that one).

I'd bet he has bunches of bubble wrap, seems like he's always adding parts to his bike. When I grow up I want to be just like him  ;D
