I have TJ's 59s p-pad.......it's the same length as the Touring p-pad.  It's just a little narrower.

There goes that idea

I did and I called Mustang.  Aside from Mustang mostly using vinyl and not leather, they told me their seat will not properly fit the SESG and that they do not plan to make a special one for that bike due to its limited production.  Does anyone have a Mustang seat on their SESG?  If yes, please post a picture and identify the model number of the seat.

Thanks,

Rich

Here's a link to photos of my SESG with the Mustang Solo and 13.5" pillion. I will take and post more pics over the weekend with the seat without the rider's backrest and with the 8.5" pillion and the short (stock) sissy bar. Fits perfectly, rides great.

You are correct, Mustang only uses vinyl, no leather. However, I've had 3 Mustangs over the years on various bikes and always been happy with their looks and comfort.

Michael,

That seat looks good.  Do you have a picture from above looking down of the 13.5" pillion seat on the bike showing the rear seat screw on the fender?  I want to be sure the Stealth Luggage Rack fits with that setup.

Also, what is the model number/name of that seat?

Thanks,

Rich

That's because you're in Colorado.  Spend a summer riding on a vinyl seat in Calif. or Az (where it's in the triple digits all summer) and that would change.  The sweat caused from the vinyl seats is why they call it monkey butt (vinyl doesn't breath). :nervous:

and the 13.5" pillion Part Number:7911 http://mustangseats.com/Product.aspx?ID=1193

It'll be a few days before I can get pics, but will do asap.

I could just barely get the tourpak on with the pillon so I am at least hoping they will shave a 4th of an inch on it. I think this is the only type harley rack that wont work with the seat because of the way the rack is made. If they cant come up with an idea then ill sell the rack and get something else. I wont get rid of the seat, I will also be buying a larger pillon for touring if I have a passenger.
