Took the bike over to the shop last night for the install of the 37g's and the 030 cometec head gaskets. Should have dyno results by Friday.

:o  Geez, this is scary!  I have 52,000 miles on my 2000 CVO and it hasn't been checked.  Guess I had better hurry up and get my ass over to the Harley shop to get it checked and replaced!!!!

Got the bike back late yesterday afternoon. I put in the tw37g cams and the 030 cometec head gaskets. I got dyno results of 96 hp and 101 tq. I was not after big numbers but a nice flat torque curve that comes on early. My bike now has right around 100 ft lbs from 2100 to 5000 rpm and runs about 5 more hp all along the curve until about 5600 where the stock motor matches it in hp. The gear drives whine a bit, somewhat like a roots type blower, ( I really like that sound), but the valvetrain is a lot quieter, probably due to the lower lift and more gradual ramps on the cams.  I'll try to get the dyno results posted soon.
As an aside I pulled the nose cone off of my buddys 2004 FXDWG that has 18000 miles, took some pics and took them to the local dealer. Excessive wear on his too, which they will cover under warranty. Bottom line is I would check those shoes at 20000 mi. [smiley=2vrolijk_09.gif]
