09SEUC mines the same way. I have killed the motor twice at very slow speed waiting for car to pass. In 1st gear coasting then clutch out roll throttle but no gas fast enough. Lucky did not fall over either time... and did not get ran over! Be careful! I have started rolling on throttle a couple seconds sooner than with regular cable throttle on old 03RKC. I am getting used to it,but it is taking some time. Still not sure if I like TBW.
UPDATE* I did not see post on here about MOCO new throttle download and to contact Customer Service prior to stealer trip. Got normal response they could not duplicate problem and my bike functions just like all others. Will install PCV later this month which should solve problem.

Had the same issue until I got my bike tuned, have the TTS, and he adjusted the throttle.
Much better now.

MoCo has new throttle down load. It helps with the off idle stall!
Call MoCo Customer Service to get Reference number before taking to dealer.
Good luck,

Your bike needs to be tuned and that lag will be eliminated.

pc-v  does not have adjustments for throttle responce,  , the tts mastertune does this  and really well  because u can go in to factory ecm  for this,  i dont think any other tuner does this

Depends on what is causing the hesitation.  If it really is ETC lag, get your dealer to look for a better download from H-D to fix it.  On the other hand, many bikes without ETC also have a pretty severe hesitation off idle.  When you roll the throttle on at low engine speeds, you get into one of those areas where the stock H-D maps are extremely lean, 15 or 16 to 1 isn't uncommon.  That kind of problem can be tuned out.  As for mucking up the PC map trying to fix this, all you do is save the current map to disk before you play with it.  If you muck something up, you just reload the old map and you're instantly back where you started.

I believe the new 2011 CVO Softail has ETC now as well.  Eventually I'm betting it will be across the board, but for right now the Dyna and regular Softails still have cables.

Tune factory ECM by stealer or add like Fuel Pack,TTS,PCV product and then tune. Define "Tune" process if you have time. Thanks. I don't really like the customer service and don't trust my local stealer.

fuelpack  pcv  wont adjust throttle lag,  u need to adjust the ecm  by tts  and i think se tuner can do it with the right trained  tuner
