Kuryakyn Footboard relocator
« on: March 15, 2011, 01:57:00 PM »

Kuryakyn relocator shows 1" out and 1" forward ..has anyone tried these with fairing lowers ? looks to me like 1" forward the bracket will be touching the bottom of the lowers ... I would really like to get the extra this would provide but dont want to start cutting up the bike

I put the harley goodies extensiona on mine.  They push the boards out approx an inch but not forward.  It helped so I could use the whole board not just the edge.  They offer a discount on several of the forums I belong to not sure about here.  Really quick shipping and price is good.

Thanks
I looked at Harleygoodies and that may be what I end up using  ..my problem is I am for the most part using the front half of the board and my boot is touching the lowers I am used to riding my Deuce in a semi layed back position might have to sit up and pay attention   going to check out Kuryakyn @ AZ bike week that way if they dont fit I can just take them back and not have to dick around with shipping or waiting.

i put the inch Harley Goodies on mine, have 360 highway peg mounts so i can rest my heel on the floorboard and toe on the highway peg, or can stretch out on the pegs....gives you different riding positions......

I did the same thing and it works well.. Did a little tweaking a few days ago because my fet tended to slide off the ends of the pegs and very comfortable

Just got done installing installing the Kuryakyn footboard relocator on my 2011 FLTRUSE. Gives you 1inch out and 1 inch forward. The left side is easy the right side is a little more difficult. The right side is very close to the lowers. With a little adjustment it works fine. :huepfenjump3:
