Not saying it could be an issue, but the only thing that bugs me about the Tri Glide pulley vs Andrews is that the Tri Glide pulley is a bit wider than the stock (and Andrews) 1" pulleys.

Like I said there's been nothing to say it's a problem, but personally that bugs me a bit.
Belt will center itself.  It has not been a problem.

I guess a little help here with the belt question.  I bought my bike with the Andrews 30t pulley.  I wasn't sure what belt the previous owner used but he did give me the stock belt in the box that the replacement belt was packaged.  Maybe someone can help with this part number?

Drag Specialties box, the box had his name on it so I'm assuming he ordered it through a HD store?
Part number: 1204-0064
Vendor # BDLSPCB-139-1
BELT REAR DRV 1" 139T

I'm not really sure where to go to get the details, maybe Drag Specialties website with the part number?  Just trying to find out if I should keep an eye on this belt, or maybe just replace it with the suggested belt before I have a problem? :nixweiss:

This is what I found:

Drag Specialties:
Part number: 1204-0064
Vendor # BDLSPCB-139-1
BELT REAR DRV 1" 139T

Listed as Part #  G500.01A7  which after a little more homework, it is the Gates manufactured belt that apparently was recommended as the belt to use with the Andrews 30t pulley??????????  CORRECT???????

I have the 30 tooth H.D. Tri-Glide pulley on my 07 and I am very happy with it and have had on problems.....Besides it saves a bunch of bucks which can be used for other things...........

Such as a CHROME INNER PRIMARY - since the inner has to come off anyway!   :2vrolijk_21:

To me this is a no brainer.  The Tri-Glide part is OEM and also has the added advantage of being more economical.  If there was something about an Andrews or Baker that was really a significant improvement in the real world, maybe the price difference could be justified.  I don't see it.

Rio, this belt is actually the Falcon SPC belts everyone has been having problems with. Another member found this belt from American Legends Motorcycle, Inc. It's made by Gates and could be a possible solution. Gates Part no is 77560. The website part number is MU-77560.  It's listed for $115.78. Here's the link. http://www.legendmcs.com/mid-usa-harley-parts-clutch-driveline/clutches-primary-rear-drive-belts-parts.html

I called and that part number is for a Gates belt.  Based on everything I read, other than changing out to a sportster belt, this is the better belt.  I think each retailer uses their own part number and thatss the gate part number?  I hope I'm right....anyone else verify?

The 136T Sportster belt is not an option for the 09 and later Baggers with a 30T pulley. Too bad, because we would all be using it with out issue.
It only works on the 07-08s with the 30T pulley. The 09 and later bikes require a 139T belt with a 30T Pulley.
