Picked Punkin up on friday evening. I do want to give the crew at Zippers a special thanks. They did an outstanding job as usual.

OK I know what you want to see and hear. As of right now I DO NOT HAVE A DYNO SHEET! I don't know any numbers. I have a new package that was devolped by Zippers for our CVO Motors and they want me to break her in nice and easy(RIGHT!!!!!). She has about 200 miles on the motor as of right now.

First impression is she is fast. They did tell me I was going to be happy, and they were right. And she is faster than she was before. Numbers with the stock CVO 103 were 103 hp and 104 tq. After some tweeking and the 575 cams hp was 104 and tq was 112. She is much faster now. I did twist the wick last night one good time. The bunch I was with could not believe it. Second gear and the tires broke loose (with a passenger). I let off of it in 3rd gear. So the motor is making some good power and is extremely quite.

The build is as follows. Zippers broke the cases and did the timken conversion, new cylinders and pistons both HD, heads by Zippers as are the cams and throttle body and Thunder Max ECM, D&D fat cat with the performance baffle and complete assembly by Zippers. I will continue to keep RPM's below 3500 till she goes back for the dial in and final maps. I will keep everyone posted.

The build sounds great! Is your D&D exhaust the Borezilla? That's what I'm running & I was told that there's no baffle for it [smiley=confused5.gif]. What oil pump are you running? My 113 build made 130hp/126tq. Sounds like your gonna top that... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Very impressive!

Congrats on the build Dawg. I've always put more faith in seat of pants feel that dyno sheets anyway and from your description, it sounds like you've got one mean bagger.

Does this mean the HBRR is opening a chapter in DC ? 8-)

It sounds like that smile on your face was big enough to over ride the pain in your ribs. Glad to hear how strong it feels. Breaking loose in second 2 up she must have unbelieveable torque. Congrats on the new Zippers 113 muscle package & take it easy on those ribs.(if you can)

OK now it gets even better. Went out tonight met up with some of the guys from work (we were all riding). Stopped and had a few (tooooo many) beers. It is cool up here in the mountains. Yes this motor LOVES COOL AIR! Very surprised though she is now producing some heat. Runs excellent but not running cool anymore and the air temps are 20 plus degrees cooler tonight and lees humid. I guess everything is starting to mate. I really can't wait till we get some numbers on this build.

Chip great looking art work on the "M" bike. Can't wait to see it in person. Now lets here about the motor in the "M" bike!!!!!!!!

Getting back to "THE EAGLE" aka Punkin. I would love to add a little juice to her. The only problem is NADS was designed for a STOCK MOTOR. I should inquire about the development of a modified motor system. Now that would be something add 30 to 40 H/P with the push of a button! I don't think the stock clutch will hold 150 to 160 H/P.

You're right, but I think Chip would give us the numbers for the Mega-Millions Lottery the day before they came out before he is going to be giving up information on that motor. Something tells me he wants the element of surprise and be able to show us at MV.

I called Zipper's a few month's ago to inquire about putting some N.A.D.S. on my 113". They said they probably would not have a kit or program for quite awhile for the 113''. So I planned on doing this as a winter project.

Could the DAWG be a guinea pig??

I sure hope the N.A.D.S. will be swingin' below the DAWG on the HAWG in the Valley[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Brad I have enough miles on the bike now to take her back to Zippers for the final map and numbers.

After this is done I will start a new thread on the 113 muscle package. I will list everything in the motor and the final exhaust choice. I hope I can get Dan to do a map for about 3 or 4 exhaust eystems as this will help a lot of people make the decision. This will be a great winter project for a lot of people. It is also very affordable. I know the muscle 103 package is around 3200.00. This package will be more for the tear down, timken conversion, case boring, and reasseble of the motor for those of you that can not do it. You can also use another shop for the tear down and disassemble of the motor and let Zippers do the machine work. You must also purchase the BIGGER BORE cylinders and pistons form HD. I recommend a 5 over piston so Zippers can set cylinders up for the proper clearance.

GROVER not as of yet. It is just so much fun to drive I hate to leave her down there. Actually I was going to try to take her back today. Weather man is calling for rain so I will see how the weather is around 3 this afternoon.

One thing about this motor. It has a set Red Shift 647 cams in it. They have a later TQ curve than the 575's. But with the increase in displacement and compression it pulls great at lower RPM's. I had originaly thought Danny was going to put 657's in the motor which has a much lower TQ curve but the top numbers would suffer.

Listen to what he says Gary. My mom, my sister and at least two (depends on whether color out of a bottle counts or not) ex-girlfriends were redheads. One was the real deal Irish variety. Fun? oh yeah. But a hand full like a rice burner with a bent rear wheel and the throttle stuck open......

Don't confuse "liking" them with wanting one for a "keeper" (the little woman I have has the heart of a giant, that will keep me straight, and that is scary enough [smiley=nervous.gif]). Don way back in my single days what you mentioned was what I enjoyed about them, may have something to do with youth and having the ability to hold on better.

Punkin is back home from a quick initial tuning on the Tmax. The numbers are not bad. She spun 126 square. The Tq curve come in hard at 2500 to 100 ft lbs and peaks out at 3200 to 126 and stays there till around 5200. Bobby told me there is more left there but we were running out of time. Also I am running a D&D fat cat and it restrictive. They are going to try a Borzillia when I take her back in late October.
