I have 2012 cvo ultra and am trying to replace rear saddle bag guards with comfort ones , they are lower cut so passenger calf is not touching them , catalog says don't fit cvo model , has anyone tried these or know what is different about how they bolt on the cvo ?

The HD comfort bag guards, part number 49179-09 will fit. I have them on my 11.5 the catalog states they won't fit but they bolted right up with no modifications needed. If you look closely at my profile pic you can see them on the bike.

Just an FYI the motor company's catalog states that a lot of stuff won't fit.....but sometimes the catalog is wrong, not always, but often enough....

Thank you very much, my local dealer has never sold these so he did not know , as you said catalog says no but in reality a lot of things do fit with a little or no mods .
