Dyno Sheet from JARZ Performance
« on: October 15, 2006, 09:56:03 AM »

Here is the Dyno sheet from JARZ Performance in Abbotsford, BC.  This is with the base map from Zippers for all the parts I installed about two weeks ago.  The config is on a 2005 FLHRSI (RoadKing Custom) with a 103" motor w/SE CVO stock heads, Redshift TC575 gear cams, Zippers 50mm Throttle body and manifold, Zippers Hi-Flow AC, D&D Fatcat 2-1 w/BigBore Baffle and a Thundermax ECM.  Also installed a Feuling ProPump, Zippers bypass shim, and Zippers pro-taper adjustable pushrods.  I probably could have gained a couple more FtLbs of low end torque with the Standard Baffle, but it sounds great and probably gained a couple ponies onthe top end.  We tried to smooth out the AFR to around 13.7:1 across the rpm range.  Overall, it runs great and when I'm not gettin' on it I get around 42- 44 MPG, which is less than the stock 47-49 MPG, but still not too bad.  I am very happy with the guys at Zippers Performance - especially Pete - who set me up with all the parts and tools to do the job right.

Well you picked the right guys to Tune and Dyno your bike. They are probably the best in the Northwest.

I have been using Lee Uhrich at Jarz Performance on three different engine builds, 95" SE 103" and presently my JIMs 120.

In July with Roger and myself watching for a while, on my JIMs 120 he started at apprx. 118 HP and 124 ft lb torque, after developing a MAP from scratch using the HD SERT, and tuning and dyno, in the end they came up with 131 hp and 134 lb ft TQ, 125 Tq at 3,200 rpms. Their is a sheet on my Dyno Run, back in the Dyno Section.

Engine runs great in the city and on the highway, have put on over 7,000 mile since and still runs greta. Get about 45 - 47 MPG.

Hey Roger, how have you been, hunting season over for this year. Hows the bike running?

Leo, you have a PM, all is well and most of the season is over.

Glad some others are finding/using JARZ.

Yeah, Lee is a great guy and definitely knows what he's doing.  I met him about eight years ago when he was kicking butt in Pro Stock at the CMDRA races.  I have been a crew chief on a Top Fuel team since 1998 and the rider just got out of it this year.  After all the Nitro tuning and wrenching, I have to relearn the gas stuff again.

On my '06 CUSE 103 I have basically got the same setup as you- but with 103 CVO SE stock heads (although I am not sure I have 'bigbore' FatCats or not). I also have the GP Main Bearing Brace (or whatever its called)too...no compensator.
I haven't dyno'd yet but if I have what YOU have I'm happy.

Al good to see you're still here.

You should allow the time to stop at JARZ when you go to Nelson, it will be well worth the time.

Rog

I'm still here...just working harder than I want to  [smiley=nixweiss.gif](to pay for more chrome, I guess [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif])

Where exactly is JARZ? Sounds like a good idea!

Al,

Was at Jim's on Sunday.  That sidecar setup on the '99 is pretty cool.  How does it ride now that it's aligned and lubed?
