Jackpot 2-1-2 with VH Hi Output mufflers
« on: October 02, 2013, 12:54:34 PM »

Hi, have a 2013 CVO RGC and looking to upgrade the exhaust.  Has anyone installed the Fuel Motto Jackpot 2-1-2 with VH Hi Output mufflers?  Was considering using the VH Power Duals, but am intrigued by the Jackpot 2-1-2.  Realize I will be using stock heat shields and crossover pipe with the Jackpot 2-1-2, but other than that, any opinions on the install, performance, quality, heat, etc?  Thanks!

Your typically going to find best results by sticking with a matched system. When you start playing the mix and match parts you many times end up with results that are not good. I would personally stick with something like a Fulsac kit that has been proven to work time and time again by many here on this site.

I run the Jackpot 2-1-2 ceramic coated header with the Jackpot 4.5" Pro Touring straight cut slip on mufflers.  Easy install, pleased with the performance and quality.   :2vrolijk_21:

The Jackpot headpipe is a quality piece.  It's made out of stainless steel, and has a lifetime warranty.  If you want it ceramic coated, that's available too.  I've run that pipe on 2 bikes and love it.

I have no experience with the V&H mufflers, but plenty of guys run them.  If you like the look and/or sound, go for it!

I have the Jackpot also.  First on my 2010 with a Jackpot muffler and now on my FLHTCUSE8 with the stock SE muffler.  Both mufflers were easy to tune with the JP 2-1-2.  Im sure the Fulsac is wonderful but the Jackpot also has been proven to work time and time again by many here and on other sites.

I had a Fullsac head pipe on my 09 SERG, and my wifes 11 Street Glide, went with a Jackpot 2 into one on my 12 SERG.  My 13 SERK and my wifes 13 Street glide have the Fullsac  Head pipe....

Nothing wrong with the Jack pot, but I like the fullsac better as you can see above.

I'm running a stock de-catted header and the Hi-outputs. Pretty similar setup for stock motors.

They have a real nice rumble and are loud but not in your face loud. I really love them at 75 down the highway.

To change out the stock pipes, to a new exhaust system (Header and mufflers), looking at 3 -4 hours on the CVO RGC?

I have the VH Hi Outputs/ Jackpot set up on my 09 CVO Road Glide.  I'm pleased with the combination.  The Jackpot head pipe is a good/quality head pipe.  The combination gives you a low deep rumble sound. As you twist the right grip the sound gets louder.  The guys at Fuel Moto are great to work with.  Great choice!

Shouldn't be that bad.  Spray down the fasteners and the exhaust joints with WD-40 or PB Blaster before you start, that'll make it go easier.
