so I've been told. anyway, got my own pc back,, so I guess I should start my own subject line. Heres a few more pics of my new baby. got the mufflers on e-bay a while back. they are stock Roadking that some guy machines the baffles out and resets them at different degrees. awsome sound.

I guess that is a team in that garage of yours. Being upstate makes it even harder to ride 'em. I have a place near Oneonta. Starts snowing in Oct. That's awsome man! Thanks for the shots of the rack. It's interesting cause I think they made the 2-up luggage rack different. My latches are already outboard. I remember I had to add spacers to the docking kit on my '99 and '03 RK to get it to line up with the rack. I guess I finally got a bike to fit the luggage rack! Anyway, I wish you nothing but the best with your new ride and that collection. Maybe we'll hook up upstate sometime. Hoist!

I wouldn't say you ended up with Black. I'd say you made a great choice. The bike looks beautiful. Good Luck with it.

Re the docking. I checked my luggage rack and docking hardware on my '03 RK today. The latch on the rack is on the inside like Dennis said, but I had to install 2 thick spacers on each side of the fender strut with the docking kit. I thought I remembered building that out pretty far when I installed it in '02. Now I'm wondering if I'll have to move the latches outside or the luggage rack and tour-pak rack are different widths. It doesn't matter much. I'll do what I have to do to get it to work once I get it.

Keep posting on how these new SERK's are working out. THE CUSE guys seem to be having lots of issues we're not hearing about with the SERK's (or Dyna and Springer for that matter). Especially paint and engine problems. Are we just not hearing about it or are the Full Dressers the only problem? Maybe HD has a problem at Tomahawk, but that doesn't explain the engine failure issues. Also updates on everone's tuning/mods choices and results would be great.

after just reading the issue the one guys having with a dresser that just arrived, I'm planning on going out to the garage and crawl around the floor checking every thing and at every angle.
I'll admit,,, I was too excited when it finally arrived, that I really didn't inspect it as well as I should have. I ordered it July 17th. it arrived Nov.22, took delivery the 24th. and what I've seen made me very happy so far.

That sticker on the front fork of your SERK is down right criminal. I work on an Air Force Base and cannot bring myself to permanently affix any stickers to mine.

unfortunatly, New York says we have to have those inspection stickers. some guys put them on small plates bolted on next to the oil filter, but its technically illegal, and I know of a few who were ticketed for it. :-/

We used to put them on the lower leg, down at the bottom until, they put those new reflectors on a few years back. I'm not crazy about putting mine there either now, that I see it. Might take my chances with that inspection plate. Hoist!

That looks great Dennis. The curve is smooth and the AFR, except for that little blip at 2200 RPM, is beautiful. It must be real responsive and run cooler? I'll see how close I come this week. Have fun man!

don't know,, its still at the dealers. waiting for factory rep to look at wifes bike. she has a little spot of rust showing under the clear, over the spun metal look on the front fender. no scratches. must have been a flaw in the metal.
anyway. may not pick them up till just before leaving for Daytona.

bags are from TopShopCarbon.com (just the lowers) lids are stock, with thanks to Howie (Hoist) for the idea of the embossed flame on top of the lids. also for finding such a great painter.

ok, after all that venting,,, in my selfproclaimed wisdom,, I tried to get real clear pics. so I played with the camera and found a real high resolution setting. just checked all the pics I took today with that setting - I screwed up. yes the pics are way too big.

Pop has advanced degrees is very technically savy, knowlegable...... and cannot type. Seriously I'm lucky if I can get him to send me one email a month. I'll keep working on him though so that he can surely never retire.
